Island hopping
Sailing for more than one day, visiting different islands and staying ashore in local hotels. This can also be tied in with touring malt whisky distilleries such as Oban, Jura and the Islay malts. On recent trips, Sgarbh has visited Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, Iona, Castlebay on Barra, Craighouse on Jura and many other interesting and beautiful destinations.
Short trips
Full or half day trips from Loch Crinan, visiting and passing the beautiful local islands with lunch ashore on the beach or aboard. The boat can start from inside the Crinan Canal which is fascinating.
Painting expedition
Heading out to the stunning beaches and beautiful west coast villages. Materials and tuition can
be provided or you can be left to your own devices. The Scottish colourist trail to Iona will follow in the footsteps of Cadel, Peploe and Ferguson; renowned Scottish painters.
Onboard dining
Fresh seafood and other local produce can be prepared on board or by the Crinan Hotel and served during your cruise. Local lobster and mussels are a favourite. Just ask us when making your booking.
